Karen has called Lake Lanier home for more than twelve years, and that's where her real estate practice began. Today she leads The Legacy Team's luxury, waterfront, mountain, and land markets across North Georgia — from estates in Milton and Alpharetta to deep-water homes on Lanier and cabins in Blue Ridge — as a licensed Realtor® with Keller Williams North Atlanta.
Before real estate, Karen worked in construction management, and it shows. She reads a lot the way a builder does, walks new construction at every stage, and evaluates estates, docks, wells, and septic systems the way they need to be evaluated before her clients commit. She is licensed in both Georgia and Florida, where she also serves buyers and sellers along the Emerald Coast in Destin. Karen's daughter and teammate, Britney Javens, leads The Legacy Team's North Atlanta markets — Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, Johns Creek, and the intown corridor from Buckhead to Brookhaven. Together they cover North Georgia from the Perimeter to the mountains, and every client gets both of them.
Britney brings a modern, digital-first approach to marketing and client care, with a background in flipping and renovating homes. When your search moves toward the city, she's already there; when it heads north toward the lake or the mountains, Karen leads. One team, two specialists, no handoffs.
